 Functional medicine

Functional medicine providers use a range of diagnostic tools and tests to evaluate patients' overall health. These can include comprehensive medical history, physical exams, laboratory tests for nutrient deficiencies and hormonal imbalances, and assessments of lifestyle factors such as diet, stress, sleep, and exercise.
We introduce Tiberiu (Ted) Fulop.
Tiberiu Fulop practices functional medicine, an approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of health problems. Rather than just treating symptoms, functional medicine providers work with patients to create tailored treatment plans that prioritize preventing and addressing body dysfunctions.

To become a functional medicine provider, healthcare practitioners undergo additional training and education beyond their basic medical or healthcare certification. This may include completing the Functional Medicine Certification Program provided by the Institute for Functional Medicine, which teaches providers about functional medicine principles, tools, and techniques.

Weight Loss

Our Functional medicine practitioner, personal trainer-pilates instructors, and medical professionals can work together to develop a comprehensive weight loss plan that takes into account individual needs and goals. Additionally, along with Semagluide and B12 shots it's important to make necessary dietary and lifestyle changes to support sustained weight loss.
Here's what you should know:

1. Functional medicine: Functional medicine is an approach that focuses on treating the root causes of health issues rather than just managing symptoms. It takes into account the individual's unique biochemistry, genetics, lifestyle, and environment to develop a personalized treatment plan.

2. Personal trainer-pilates instructor: Partnering with a personal trainer-pilates instructor can be part of a comprehensive weight loss plan. These professionals can provide guidance on exercise routines and help improve strength, flexibility, and overall fitness levels.

3. Semaglutide: Semaglutide is a medication that can aid in weight loss. It belongs to a class of medications called GLP-1 receptor agonists and works by reducing appetite and increasing feelings of fullness. This medication is usually prescribed to individuals with a BMI of 30 or above, or those with a BMI of 27 or above and weight-related health conditions.

4. B12 shots: B12 shots are injections containing vitamin B12, a nutrient that plays a crucial role in energy production. These shots may be offered to individuals who may have a deficiency in vitamin B12 or who may benefit from an energy boost.

Cupping

Cupping

Cupping is a therapeutic technique used in traditional Chinese medicine and other ancient healing practices. It involves creating a suction effect on the skin using cups made of glass, bamboo, or plastic. Cupping can provide pain relief, promote relaxation, improve blood circulation, aid in detoxification, support the immune system, enhance skin health, and alleviate respiratory conditions. However, it is important to consult a trained professional for safe and effective cupping sessions, as it may cause temporary marks or bruising on the skin.
